ÖKOTHERM® – Furnace modules

For the environment and our future

For years, A.P. Bioenergietechnik GmbH has been working together with various technology partners in R&D projects to minimise dust - carbon monoxide (CO) - and nitrogen oxide (NOx) - emissions in biomass heating systems.

The use of fabric filters is recommended for very dusty biomasses. Due to the temperature-resistant PTFE fabric, the maximum reduction of dust is possible. A value of <10 mg/Nm³ is guaranteed.

When burning wood and miscanthus, an electric dust collector can also be installed, such as the field separator we have developed.

Effective separation of hydrogen chloride compounds (HCL), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and dioxins and furans (PCDD/PCDF) can be achieved by adding so-called precoat material to the flue gas with subsequent filtering.

The combustion process is constantly being optimised through continuous improvement of the electronic control system and the use of innovative sensor technology. With the use of ÖKOTHERM® flue gas cleaning systems, we certify that the statutory emission limits of the 1st BImSchV and 44th BImSchV are complied with.
